Here we have a gorgeous Omega watch dating back to 1939. This watch was allegedly worn by an RAF flight sergeant during WW2, when he was deployed to India. However, there are no military markings, so one would assume that it was bought privately (as opposed to military issued) and worn during service. This was common for flight sergeants who were rarely issued watches in the military, as these watches were prioritised for pilots, navigators, or time-critical roles. Alternatively, the military markings could have been polished out, which is also common. As seen in the photos, the white dial and the stainless steel case are in great condition, especially considering the incredible stories this watch has to tell. The Omega calibre 23.4 T2 is losing just under 60 seconds over a 24 hour time period. Make this incredible piece of history yours today!
